About the show
Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss's pop-concert musical reimagining the six wives of Henry VIII as a girl-group rivalry.
SIX began at Edinburgh Fringe and now plays the Vaudeville Theatre, where the wives of Henry VIII trade verses in a pop concert about who suffered worst at the King's hands. The show is short, sharp and built like a stadium pop set - the Tudor framing gives the production its hook, but the score works on its own as glossy contemporary pop. Running time is around eighty minutes straight through, no interval. Suitable for older children upwards.
