About the show
Lin-Manuel Miranda's hip hop and R and B retelling of the life of American founding father Alexander Hamilton.
Hamilton arrived at the Victoria Palace in 2017 and has stayed there since, telling the life of Alexander Hamilton through a hip hop, R and B and traditional Broadway score. Thomas Kail's staging on David Korins's revolving set keeps the show in near-constant motion. The London company has historically leaned into UK and Caribbean voices in casting. Running time is around two hours and forty-five minutes with an interval. Recommended for ages ten and up due to language and political themes.
