One of the most influential literary artists of his time, this season Anton Chekhov shares the stage with Shakespeare as we explore the transformative impact they both continue to have on how we think and feel about the world. Caroline Steinbeis (The Contingency Plan, Rutherford and Son, Sheffield Crucible) returns to the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse to direct this twentieth century classic.
